FirstCut Studio is a music composition and sound-post company based in Sydney. The FirstCut team have produced award winning original compositions exploring countless musical genres and styles for advertising, film, television and live performance. It is also a collection of state-of-the-art facilities, and home to an exceptional team of charismatic, experienced and talented composers, musicians, producers, recording engineers, sound designers, and mixers.At FirstCut, we believe in a collaborative approach with our clients and our philosophy is simple.

FirstCut was created by acclaimed composer Basil Hogios and is set up in a unique way to provide a real alternative to what is out there. Our production model is uniquely designed to be flexible to suit any sized project. Each project has a music and sound solution individually tailored for it, so we can deliver alot more for the budget, with no compromise on quality and client experience.
